All that glitters isn’t gold—they could be diamonds instead. The UBM June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair has been giving the city an extra sprinkling of sparkle for an impressive 30 years. Returning this week, the fair is celebrating their anniversary with an extra special edition.
With nearly 2,100 exhibitors, you’ll be spoilt for choice on which stalls to visit first. Jewellers gather from around the globe to showcase their collections and products in over 70,000 square meters of exhibition space, providing a unique opportunity to see the world’s best all in one place, on your doorstep.
The fair is organised into 16 pavilions—Fine Design and Fine Gem; Core; Silver; Stainless Steel; Fashion Jewellery; Gemstones; Antique and Vintage Jewellery; Diamonds; Fine Jewellery; Designer Arena; Pearls and Corals; Jewellery Accessories; Fei Cui Gallery; and Packing, Tools and Equipment—which makes it much simpler to navigate.
The Fine Design and Fine Gem Pavilion is one of this year’s highlights, with nearly 70 international exhibitors showcasing fine, antique and estate jewellery, and an exquisite collection of coloured gems, loose diamonds and South Sea pearls.
The exclusive Fei Cui Gallery is another attraction at this year’s 30th anniversary fair. Fei Cui, or Jadeite, has been the imperial stone of China for centuries, carrying cultural associations of luck, wealth and courage. This popular gemstone will be on display in a variety of grades, colours and products, showing the versatility of China’s favourite jewel.
